Sonic Rob: Best
Sonic Rob: loss
Sonic Rob: ever
Sonic Rob: 0-78, went down fighting
Sonic Rob: two orc waaghs + SM (us) vs 2 eldar and SM
Sonic Rob: I’ve never killed so many walkers in my whole life
FyreHaar: did you save it?
Sonic Rob: I did
Sonic Rob: or I thought I did
Sonic Rob: where’d you go, you effer
Sonic Rob: ah, there we go
Sonic Rob: files are saved with the level and the date, not the name you save them under
Sonic Rob: tricky Relic grotz
FyreHaar: yeah
FyreHaar: sneakery
Sonic Rob: so, a couple lessons from this one about tankbustas
Sonic Rob: 1) don’t barrage an area if a nearby ally may possibly charge his melee troops in
Sonic Rob: like, at all
Sonic Rob: 2) barrage works uphill. the regular attack does not, really
Sonic Rob: the rockets just hit the cliffs
Sonic Rob: 3) once you hit 3 tankbustas, you fear no armor
Sonic Rob: with a warboss you can take on a wraithlord and a dreadnaught almost at the same time
Sonic Rob: with those TBs firing away
FyreHaar: what about ASM??
Sonic Rob: never saw any
Sonic Rob: SM was concentrating on scouts and dreds
FyreHaar: but what if you did?
Sonic Rob: I would die
Sonic Rob: badly
FyreHaar: keep a dred back
FyreHaar: or some sluggas
FyreHaar: just protecting the TB
FyreHaar: or a loota covering them
Sonic Rob: that could be good, yeah
Sonic Rob: you know the funny thing about TBs is that they just freak people out
Sonic Rob: enemy player had a farseer and at least one banshee squad capping a VP, so I volleyed them
Sonic Rob: instead of charging my TBs
Sonic Rob: who were alone!
Sonic Rob: they hit X
Sonic Rob: TBs recap the VP
Sonic Rob: I didn’t even need to see them to start the volley
Sonic Rob: If a VP goes dark, a healthy volley of rockets is not a bad policy
Sonic Rob: one of the Eldar kept trying to turtle a VP with shuris and a Fire Prism
Sonic Rob: TB group says “nope”
Sonic Rob: 1 volley on the shuri, 2 on the FP, in goes the melee mob and the shootas
Sonic Rob: TBs hit waagh and focus on the FP
Sonic Rob: g’night
